The main work carried out by the Agricultural Cooperation and Promotion Division is as follows, through in-depth researches summarizing the experiences and practices of cross-strait agricultural innovation development. Supporting the construction of national think tanks. Promoting advanced technologies and latest achievements. Providing support and assistance for R&D and transformation of enterprises. Developing multiple channels of agricultural personnel training to reserve high-end talents for cross-strait agricultural modernization. Arranging exchange visits between administrative agencies, social organizations and enterprises across the Taiwan Strait and across regions. Cooperating with relevant agricultural departments, social organizations and leading enterprises to jointly build Cross-Strait Agricultural Exchange Demonstration Bases. At the same time, we regularly organize various forums and seminars according to national development strategies and hot agricultural issues.


In recent years, combining with national development strategy ICSD has organized Internet+Modern Agriculture Summit, One Belt and Road Modern Agricultural International Summit, Cross-Strait Rural Financial Innovation & Development Forum, Seminar Series on Rural Revitalization Strategy. We have also organized high-end delegations to Taiwan, Japan and other places to promote agricultural cooperation. Co-sponsored by China Fisheries Association and ICSD, The Fifth Forum on Modern Fisheries Development has been held, meanwhile Modern Fisheries Talents Development Project has been officially launched. Besides, the book Internet + Agriculture: Big Data Detonating the Transformation of Agricultural Industrial Structure has published. All these activities and achievements have been affirmed and supported by agricultural sector and all social circles.
